Converting Halogen to Xenon (E39)

What exactly do i need, and how hard is it to convert my halogen headlights to xenon headlights?
do i just need the new headlights as well as the ballasts?
Is it even possible, and if so how hard is it, can i do it myself?
any info would be appreciated

thanx
-Paul

Paul why don't you buy those plug & play xenon kits, just find out what kind of headlight bulbs you use now, if you are planning on getting xenon's you should save up some cash and convert your headlights to xenon with angle eyes, I'll find more info

that is what i am ultimately planning to do but i can grab some old style headlights with ballasts for cheap, so i can then use the ballasts from the old style lights for new angel eyes when i have the cash. In the mean time i would use the old style xenon, which is still btr than what i have.
