ONly 1 HID lights up need help!!!!!!!!!1111

Hey guys put in my HID for the e34 and only one lights up. Put halogens back in and both light up. Checked both HID bulbs and both work. Why does only one HID work??? My LKM has been saudered and jugding by the fact that both halogens work i guess it means it's still good. Anybody have any ideas.

Forget it guys, firgured out the ballast is ****ed.

ya that was gonna be my guess.

once turning off the engine i put the lights back on to show someone, and only one lit up, i was like wtf, i was about to get soo pissed.

Then i turned it off waited a while and back on and it came back on.
I guess it was bcus i turned it on and off quickly, one idnd't light up

So is it the ballast then?
