some work done on the M3
just passing along some pics. ...had the M3 in the shop over the winter.
The shop that did the paint job is not cheap and takes awhile. But the
results are first rate. Everything was taken off the car (bumpers, doors, hood, trunk, trim, glass etc).
Until recently, its was too busy to post or to update my website. So here they.
Also had the 2002 tii in the shop too for some touch-up and polishing. its now back home too.

Hi Jim,
I saw your tii up at the shop last week, it looks good. Hopefully I'll get my tii out on the road next year.
I suppose you saw that 56 Speedster? It was really nice looking butI'd be scared to drive it around.

Vander does some awesome work. That Speedster was pretty cool.
In the March timeframe, they had a Z8 in the shop.
I'm happy with the tii. I just gotta find the time to finish the darn interior.
What year is your tii?
I'm lucky the wife lets me play with the toys.

My tii is a 74. I bought it in 1981. It had a Callaway turbo butI took it off in 85. I had built a small control system for fuel enrichment, but is was quite primitive. Now I could make something nice with a single microcontroller. A tree hit my car during the big windstorm of Octoer 2002. Insurance will pay for most of the repairs but not a complete paintjob. Vander wanted around 8.5K extra for a complete paintjob so I have had to pass on it for now.

I picked up the e30-M3 in Vancouver. So it has not been ravaged by the
salty east-coast roads.
VIN# indicates it is one of the last ones produced.
Stock Engine is strong. Body is rust-free and straight. Next step is to work on the suspension. After 13 years, it is due.
