Some computer parts for sale..

Leadtek GeForce 2 mx DH Pro (box, reatil, used)
- dual head, dual monitor output display
- TV output display
- 6 layer board for overclocking
- fan + heatsink
- AGP 4X

I ran this thing at max overclock and it ran almost as fast as a normal GeForce 4 mx 440 so its a good value card. I'm asking $70Cdn since its a dual head, but I will take offers as well.

Real Magic Hollywood plus DVD decoder card +2 (OEM)
- outputs to TV in DVD hardware format
- dolby digital 5.1 output
- PCI
- $50Cdn

Seagate 20GB ATA UDMA 66 HDD (OEM, used w/ half a year of warranty left)
- $70Cdn

Thanks,

Bryan

First it was clocked to max second an asus MX card cost 50 bucks new, so I think this is fair enough!
Well, maybe wait for someone to pick it up from you then!

The Asus card for $50 is the newer generation Mx 200 or mx 400's. The one I have is the older faster just plain old MX. Not to mention the dual head display usually cost at least $40-$80 more.

ATA 66 doesnt mean its 66mb/sec. LOL.

Anyways, yes, ATA 100 is reverse compatable, but it wont take advantage of the speed. I have ATA 66 drives on my ATA 100 controllers.

Well I have ATA100 and I didn't notice any difference when I used ATA66 before. There is a significant change from 33 => 66.

E46_lover,

it will work just fine with your computer. Let me know, thanks

Bryan

Actually, it does. The ATA-66 spec has a burst speed of 66 MB per second, while the ATA-100 spec has a burst speed of 100 MB per second (note, Mega Bytes, not bits).

These are also referred to as UDMA mode 4 (ATA-66) and UDMA mode 5 (ATA-100). There is also an ATA-133 (UDMA mode 6), which has a burst speed of ..... 133 MB per second.

Actually no you didnt, you wrote MB, meaning MegaByte.

ata 66 is 66Mb/s if you wanna get technical, a byte is 8 bits, so ata 66 is effectively around 8MB/sec. Give or take depending on manufacturer quality.
