sorry, I agree with Jordan & Phil....The newer BMWs just have such big wheel wells and the cars come with like 19" wheels stock so there's really not much modding you can do appearance wise, for example like slamming a car with larger wheels. Something that you can do so easily with a E30/E34/E36... Therefore these new BMWs don't have the same stance. I noticed, maybe it's because the side skirts are so thick? Also the tuners are not coming up with good bodykits. Just look at ACS bodykit for E30, E36, E39 and E34. So simple, looks like stock but with a little lip here and there, subtle spoilers and side skirts. But when you look at newer cars, you see tacky symbols and openings where they don't belong, mimicking the horrendous designs the new BMWs have.
Another thing is the newer BMWs just lost their edge. When they turned smooth they lost their edge a little(like the E46, and e39 in a way). and then when you thought that it will get better, it just went the other way. The DESIGN itself lost the edge. I think this really sums up my opinions on new BMWs.
Just look at these two pictures. Remember why you liked BMW in the first place? Understated looks!

and everyone is bashing friggen bangle...but i doubt if it was a different guy, there would be a drastic change in the design compared to how it is now...
whats wrong with the e36? he was a part of that make wasnt he?
e46 is sick...
not to mention some of the new cars out there now...
Besides everyone is saying this shit about BMW...look at benz for an example...
i dont see much of a resemblence here either
