buying the 745i was risky to begin with, its not BMW its that car. That car was really gonna be a big hit or miss with all its technology. stuff like that is bound to happen when BMW tries to go all out and get ahead of the game by that much.
but MB? anything without a clutch and standard tranny

With first run production cars there's always problems along the way.......
Even the first run e46s were trouble prone....and M Benz...they have more problems than the BMWs
Dont expect that what u pay will result in a better less problem-free car..........nothing in life is perfect
My'92 Acura Vigor is less problematic than my BMW and it was worth 3 times my Acura car if u buy them new in the respected year it came out (which i still have and running 202000KM and still strong)!!!

Too bad Benz's only come in auto now. *drunk*
You shoulda seen that magazine, ///M vs AMG, I think it was Road and track
MZ3, M3, M5, X5 6.4
VS
C32, CLK55, E55, ML55
BMW won all 4! ///M is better than AMG.

BMW does a very good job at covering up their recalls. My room mate worked for them and they say, its all about the big "C". C for confidentiality. THey are cover up kings. I bet a large amount of the population didn't know that when the E46's came out they would catch fire when started.
As for the new 7'er, yes, there are 46 recalls for that vehicle. One of them includes a 6 hour firmware update for the idrive computer system and fuel pump. The new 7'er has so many computers that talk to other computers that talk to other computers. What a bitch of a car to fix!!!

I don't think so, maybe there are some BRABUS'es that are 300,000 but I think you can get it cheaper. like a mercedes that just have Brabus aerodynamics and rims.
I don't think they are so expensive, i remember I saw a lot of Brabus'es and Carlssons in Estonia. And believe me ppl don't make a lot of money in Estonia.
