a first car.. wich BMW ?

hi people..
i just got my driving license.. and i'm looking for a first car
but i've got 2 different types in mind.. or a E30 325i or a E36 320i (or 318i)

but wich one whould you prefer ?

I'm not planning on driving it every day, but i really don't wanna leave it stock, so Rieger kit, exhaust is a must-have

wich car whould you advise me ?

Drive them both.

Alot of people here love the e30, but that doesnt mean it is the right car for you. I was faced with the same decision a few years ago, and chose the e36 because I liked it better overall, but my reasons will not necessarily be the same as yours.

Also, since you are looking at older cars, make sure to check out the maintenance records to see what has been fixed on the cars.

I was in the same decision once upon a time.

an e30 just didn't suit me... didn't feel comfortable driving one. e36 just works better for me... especially when it comes to saving $$ on repairs.

e36... its newer, less problems, better resale value, and easier to find parts for.
