2 full days of track. These are R compound tires, not regular high wear summer or all season tires. You'd be surprized how quickly your tread runs out. The road surface practically rips the rubber right out. The stickier the tires, the quicker they wear out.

Of course I drive hard, I didn't make all these mods to look cool

Hmmm ... 235/45? Not 235/40? I didn't know they had that size.

Scotch....

Sure they do make this size....makes it VERY convenient for example if you're running a 3.64 diff as I do for CR, and you should go to a track like WGI where a 3.64 is a little too high a ratio, ...it's like changing ones diff out down a size to say a 3.46, yet it saves you the trouble. Sure, you have a little taller side wall by a few mm, but it's virtually indiscernable and can usually be compensated for by a minor adjustment to one's sway's and/or ride hieghth.

Those tires actually are street legal, that is why they're classified as DOT-R's.
