Michelin Pilot Alpine SP2's - Too good to be true??
I spoke with someone over at Missisauga Tire and he offered to get me 4 Michelin Artic Alpine PA2's installed (mounted & balanced, an $80 value) for $500. I thik he may have his tires/prices confused since they ar elisted at $170 per tire on the MT website, and they were valued at $170 per tire in the groupbuy.
At this rate, each tire is costing me about $125 a piece INSTALLED!
Anyone else wanna get in on this? I think he may have made a mistake though
Hell, they sell for $117 Usd. each on tirerack.com and that doesnt include install. Here is some info & reviews: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....ilot+Alpin+PA2

Miguel, installation is usually free of charge when you buy a new tire.

Well, I was right... it was too good to be true. Turns out he quoted me for 205/55/15
the price for 205/55/16 is gonna cost me $600 flat, installed. Still a good price for the PA2's considering they would cost you $600 Cdn. + shipping/handling + taxes from Tirerack and that doesnt include installation. The next cheapest price I found was $750 installed.
Im going to Mississauga Tire this Saturday to get them installed. Anyone else interested in coming/purchasing a set of tires winter or not? remember there is power$ in number$. Maybe we can talk Lou down a couple bucks?

and just to put it into perspective, the 'other' winter tire group buy was charging 162.88/per tire for these exact tires... that works out to $651.52 for a set not including taxes or installation...

well, to update people, I got a great deal on some used winter tires and bought them last night so this deal is open to whoever wants to take my place saturday.
The guys from the other group buy gave me a price of $750 installed & out the door for the PA2's.... this is seriously a steal and you are going to kick yourself in a month for not hoping on this!

I wouldnt doubt it... When i was looking for some replacement 17s for my summer rims i got quoted at about $200-$225 installed for Kuma 712s...i did a bit more shopping around and ended up grabbing brand new tires + install for $150 per rim.
Its all a matter of finding guys who are NOT out to rip you off/take advantage of you because you drive a BMW
