they also do dead stops right in the middle of flow of traffic causing pileups just to pick up customers or do U-turns without warning. I never let them in cus I hate em

I had a taxi in Barrie almost lose it on a hwy 400 southbound onramp (Essa Rd). He was taking the onramp pretty quick. I came up behind him even quicker, he noticed me and floored it, not realizing it was a reduced radius turn. Well, the ramp got pretty tight and the taxi was drifting (not controlled). I remember laughing because I saw the persons head in the back fall to the side. The taxi counter slid onto the highway and almost lost it against the guard rail. Luckily it was like 3am and no one was on the highway.

Sort of off topic, I also saw a chevy tracker try to take the same corner at speed and understeer right off the onramp, across the grass, and onto the highway, perpendicular to highway flow, right into the guard rail. (Barrie seems to have a bad binge drinking problem )

I hate how on 2 lane roads, especially downtown, a tax will pull up to the right of you at the stop light, and then gun it on the green to try and get in front of you before smashing into the parked car in their lane. What I like to do, is match their speed, and then suddenly start to slow down when they approach the parked car in the right hand lane, so they get sent to the back of the pack and can't change into my lane

Serves em right!

taxi drivers

As much as I hate the way most cabbies drive. I always have in the back of my head - this is how they make a living!! For them.....time is basically money. I hate how they rarely signal, rarely give you a wave when you let them in, etc.........

But...at the same time. I usually let them in 'cause I care more about my car then they do about theirs! Don't need any stupid fender benders!!

I always wonder what the passenger is thinking.....

I took an airport limo a while back. The loser was going 105 in the left lane of the 401. I felt like reaching up and smacking the back of is head
