Im digging the chrome mirrors, its a throwback to the MK1 rabbit.
If only there was a chrome surround for your windows and grill... you'd be set... ol'skool style.

oh man.. there is so little knowledge of VW tuning here on maX.
Its very common for VW's to sport non-VW rims.. everything from Porsche phone dial rims and Audi TT 5 spokes to Mercedes monoblochs and BMW BBS RA's.

yes, indeed, you sir know your sh!t............its sad to see nobody understands this..........its very common in europe that people rock audi, porsche, mercedez, bimmer and other kinds of wheels on a volkswagen........its basically a "euro" trend. I thought you guys would know this..........

some of us do, some of us don't. it's a BMW custom to stick to BMW rims or high-end aftermarket rims. Even then much of the time the BMW roundel goes back on it. BMW owners like to be in a class of their own and not cross-referenced with any other car brands. (except perhaps Porsche brakes.) BMW owners hate seeing M3 mirrors, m3 side skirts, fender grills, kidney grills, etc. on other cars.
Just a little different.
In either case... it looks good, I'll have to wait for more pics before I give my comment though.

well to each his or her own............if i am modding my car in such a way that it makes people scratch their heads and go wtf was that i just saw? then i am doing something right.........as i have said i mod my car to my satisfaction and obviously i do not want it to look like any other volkswagen on the road. What fun would it be if i had stock volks wheels on my car like every other volkswagen out there? I also love how one time i pulled up at a gas station and some guy says............whoa now that is sick audi rims. Once again some people love it, some people dont get it. To me a good looking wheel is a good looking wheel no matter what the center cap says............that is how i look at it.
