m50 what year did it go to odbII

Which year did the m50 go to obdII?. Or what years of 3 series or 5 series is the m50 odbI?

M50 is all OBD1, M52 went OBD2

I got a line on a 95 motor complete with harness 64000 k's for a good price. I just wanted to make sure it was what I needed.

well it is easier to install. and i have spent TONS on my e30 this week..so I have to keep the cost down.Plus i dont see anyone buying my m20.

With all the wainting i have done I want to get as much done as I can now!.. It should be titties when its done....I figure for bimmer cruize.

I don't think the conversion is worth all the effort and cost when you can install my softtware on a non-M OBD-II car for $700 and get a very significant performance increase. I can even supply software for OBD-II cars with M50 manifolds.

thats tru mark, but he has an E30...so changing the E30 to OBD2 is not worth it, therefore dropping an OBD1 2.8 instead of 2.5 in E30 is better..

the difference in price between the engines and the extra parts I think the m50 is the right choice.Let alone the swaping it to odbI.
