if you have a serious criminal that won't talk... it's a good thing to crush his fingers... but for a 'simple' robbery it's a bit too far..

Yeah, unfortunately in this country people have rights. Here we let judge and jury decide, based on the presented facts which were gathered objectively, whether he is a serious criminal, NOT the ****ing cops. It's not their job to THINK who's guilty. Their job is to find suspects and do what they're told.

Like I remember hearing in some movie about the South: "We're going to give you a fair and impartial trial, followed by a first class hanging."
