i know it came out of a 325is cause i took if offa the car my self and under the hood was a straight six...common guys...im just tryin to sell somethin here

And I'm just telling you that it should very well be an LSD in that case (which makes your sale even easier).

And you could easily tell if it was a 318 diff by just looking at it (small case).

Didn't LSDs also have a letter code somewhere on the cover or the sides?

If it is truely an 88 is automatic, it should 4.1 LSD for sure. Of course if the owner of that car didn't swap it with something later from one reason to another.

Listen, e30 325is autos came with them, as did the e30 cabrio autos both are limited slip. I just bought one. It should have a big "S" stamped right on it and there is a tag on it that would say its a 4:10 it sort of resembles a vin # tag. also turn it and see if they spin together...

SO LET THE KID SELL HIS DIFF, AT 150$ SOMEONE IS STEALING THIS THING I JUST PAID $400
