How often do you wash your filter?

If you have one that you can wash... how often do you wash it?

just washed mine tonight, haven't washed since winter ended... it'll breathe better now.

I just go by when it looks dirty, usually clean it when I do an oil change, but then again, I drive at the cottage a lot with dusty roads, so it does get dirty fairly quick.

I have a K&N in the Gruppe M. Once a year, usually after winter. Your not suppose to wash them that often.

^^ I've heard the same. There is no need to wash it more than that unless you go mudding on weekends.

*also, remember to spray it with the oil after you've clean it!

cleaning it often does, actually. A little dirt on it actually makes is work better from what I have heard and read in numerous articles. It helps get better filtration.
