Stock HP for E36's

Hey there, sorry to do this, because I'm sure all the newbies do it, but I can't find a thread or info on engine specs. I know this is a general question, and it probably changes from model to model (obvious) and year to year, but, I just trying to get a grasp on BMW's... and help or links to previous threads would be great...
