When did the 325's change engine...



I need to find a resource of when the e30 325's had engine changes.

what year had what engine, with hp and torque ratings.

Anyone have this handy?

all 325e's have the m20b27. 121BHP@4250 166TQ@3250
the 88 325e has the m20b27 "supereta" 127BHP@4250 166TQ@3250
all 325i's have the m20b25 171BHP@5800 160TQ@4300

us spec 325i's had only 168hp, the euro ones had the higher compression 170-171hp ratings. i think 9.5/1 compression vs the us spec 9.0/1? i think but might be wrong.

168 and 171 are both numbers given by BMW. Both are accepted values. Either way its 3hp not a big deal.
