what wheel size

im in a right dilema with my car its an e39 540i and it has the standard 540i multi spoke wheels which are suit the car but 17'ns just to small i want to upgrade but i duno weather to go for 18'ns or 19'ns any suggestions would be good cheers

I personally have 19'z and i think thjey look sick
but i just bent one, it sux ass
so the bigger they are the more likely to get damaged, keep that in mind

I'm going with 19" as well, anything else will look kinda small

When I first saw an E39 sport with the style 5s like mine, I thought the wheels were super hard core! It's amazing how they look so small by today's standard!

Have you checked the roadfly forums? There are plenty of pix with 18s and 19s.

well i brought them and now im sitting on some 19 ich breyton magic sport wheels very happy with it will post some pics as soon as i do them

I'd go with a nice set of 20's for the 5 series.
