paint job help

hey guys i wam sooo wanting to paint my car but dont have a lot of spare cash. Was wondering if it is feasible for me to prep the car myself and if so what would it involve . I pretty much clueless as the the process to any help is appreciated. Ps prob not going to go for a colour change

the prep work is as important if not more important than the painting itself. It is not easy to do and can end up making the car look terrible if not done right.See if anyone has a hook up that you know maybe you can get a deal on cash . Plus it helps if you can be without the car for 2 weeks or so.
