I've lost the radio code for my car (i know, i know ). Does anyone here have a hookup that can get me the code for free, or fo rmaybe a 6-pack?

Just go to the dealer and bring the serial # of the radio, they give you the code (free!)

I have done it many times and its always free, for the E30 anyways, but i dont see a reason why they will charge you...code is a code no matter for what car...

Step one.
Grab the phone book
Find all the BMW dealership phone nrs.
Try to learn one parts counter sales persons name.
Hang up.
Call 2 hours later. Ask for that person. If he/she is not available even better. Tell the person on the phone s/he was to give you your radio code and asked you to call back. You have the serial# of the radio and VIN of your car handy.
They will give it to you over the phone.
If first dealership doesn't work,. try the rest.

Djcontra, I obtained my radio code from Town and Country about 3 weeks ago without any problem. All they requested from me was the car ownership. They even assisted with removing the radio from the dash to obtain the serial # of the radio.
My experience with Town and Country has always been excellent.
