No idea what went on afterwards and who paid for what.. porsche flew up some master mechanics from Atlanta though..

Porsche is one of the companies i'd least expect to hear a crazy story like this one...Chrysler...maybe (no offence).

We too used straw mulch on freshly seeded berms. The straw mulch had tar on it to make it stick and prevent wash out. The area had to be fenced off very carefully, because you could drive on it, but soon the straw would pack around the wheel wells and if it touched the exhaust pipes, a fire could start very easily.
