How high can my M42 engine go?

How high can the engine rev up to? The car says about 6200 RPM for redline, how high do you think it'll go up to before permanent damage results?

It has a rev limiter. I don't know the number but it will not let you go past a certian point, don't worry.

Read that the engine can take it up till 7200rpm...
Anything higher than 7280rpm will damage the harmonic balancer (front crankshaft bearing?)
