I went to the dealership yesterday and tried out a 330 CI with the m sport pkg. It was awsome but I'm on the fence weather or not I should buy it. First of all it's almost $60 000 and they won't let me out of my lease with the 328, I have another 23 months left and the buy back is about $1500 more than I will probably get for it. what do you guys think I should do and how much should I get for the car realisicly.
It's a '99 with 92 500 km's on it, no dents or body damage, sport pack 2, black on black...I think thats it...

I'd stick with what you have. The performance difference is quite negligable and the money saved can be used for Mods

I wouldn't even think about it. Keep the car.
Didn't the feel of the throttle and steering bother you?

I like the steering wheel and throtle, my only beef was it was super similar to my car in every way...it was only a bit faster, a bit nicer, a bit beter handling so I felt like it was a waste of money.
I was checking out the infinity g35 coupe on the net and the interior is was way more modern...you can get it fully loaded with navi for like $43 000 and it's way faster. I'm going to check it out on monday and test drive it

I hear what you are saying ... but just another couple of comments.
1. you can try to make a 330Ci more different from your existing car by getting a different interior or exterior colours and/or trim. Along with M-sport aerodynamics package (spoilers) and performance improvements it may feel like a different car.
2. Even if you get a G35 coupe, you will probably still have to sell your 328 / find a buyer to take over your lease.
3. G35 Coupe is NOT faster than 330Ci (5-speed). They are basically head-to-head on acceleration, despite the fact that G35 has 55 more horsepower than 330Ci. As you can see, published horsepower numbers aren't everything. It could be because Infinity posted horsepower at the crank and BMW at the rear wheels, regardless, officially G35 Coupe has more horsepower and torque but still cannot beat 330Ci.
Here is one of reviews comparing these two cars (Read Page 6 from mid-to-end of the page and Page 8):
http://www.infiniti.com/m/cma/i/pre/...le_nov2002.pdf
As you will read in this review, G35 may FEEL like it is faster the way it delivers the power vs BMW which is more smoother acceleration but at the end they are even. Keep in mind as you read this if you get a 330, yours will be a 6-speed trans instead of a 5-speed tested and M-Sport suspension is better handling than standard sports suspension tested in this article.
G35 Coupe is a nice car and you get LOTS of performance for money. Another good choice at G35 price range is AUDI A4 1.8T. You can easily chip A4 1.8T to give more power.... and it has a lot nicer interior than G35.

I know but when I mulled over upgrading my 328i I came to the conclusion that nothing else but an M would do.
