Question B&M or UUC??

Perhaps my "smaller" brethren could comment, on this one.

Since I push an E38, the question of which type of shifter has never come up till now. "Baby" goes under the wrench in a week or so for her supercharger and 6 Speed conversion. The guyz doing the work recommend I use a B&M shifter. So I said OK.
I keep seeing ads about UUC & some of you have the UUC on your mod list.

Did I screw up by OK-ing the B&M?

I'm not too familiar with B&M products, but know that they use to specialize in american muscle. As for the european market goes...the UUC is probably the most popular. Maybe someone with the UUC can comment.
