how much drop in front & rear?
how much drop did you guys put for your front & rear?
I'll be running on 18's.. 235 all around with rolled fenders. What do you think would be best for an agressive BUT drivable stance?
Thinking about Bilstein Sport Shocks
with either:
- H&R race 2.0/1.3
- Eibach Pro kit 1.5/1.0
I've heard mixed reviews about KONI... anyone want to comment on this?
Thx/J

I lowered mine 2" in the front and 1.5" in the back. I am also running 235 all around but I did not do any fender roll. Maybe that is why I keep hearing this springy like sound in the front everytime I turn.
My suspension: Bilstein coil over kit (PSS)

Justin, I did a lot of research before grabbing a set of springs.
Apparently, Bilstein's w/ H&R Race are unbearably stiff. I personally had Bilsteins w/H&R Sport, and they were relatively stiff. Like if I hit a good set of minor potholes, or hit an unexpected bump, I was wincing.
I picked up a set of Racing Dynamic springs (I converted to m3 suspension), and they are about an inch lower, yet I dont' wince going over bumps. They are either softer, or match the bilsteins appropriately.
The advantage with the Koni's is that you can adjust the damper, so you can adjust your ride quality. So a lot run the Koni's w/ H&R Race.
I've read the Bilsteins ride a lot nicer with the Eibach's.
Hope this gives you some insight.

I used to have this setup on my car with the 19z on it plus I had Koni Yellows working with them.....
1. H&R race 2.0/1.3
You'll have no problems! Just be careful with speed bumps thatz all.

Eibach, all the way!!!
I've used H&R Race with Bilsteins and the ride was a little to harsh for me, IMO. But the car had a really agressive look! Don't get me wrong, H&R's are great...just my not my personal preference.
I'm currently using Eibach Sportline and Bilstein Sport shocks and I have to say that the ride is a lot nicer with the Eibach's, especially if you use your car as a daily driver. Smoother ride, but handles well when you need it to, IMO.

i used HR sports with bilstein mono sports. and im very happy with the ride, the drop was 1" in front 1.5" in the back. i have no curb trouble or speedbump trouble, but the drop was nice. and stealthy

I'm thinking of getting the H&R cup kit. How's the ride with the cup kit?
