He means the tires on the BBS or non streetable, bcus they are almost bald.

He's keeping the Azenis which are on the basketweaves for the track/autox

That sounds logical. I guess the phrase "unlike the ones I have on now" was what threw me off.

Actually no, I'm implying that they are pretty damn extreme for the street. With how hard I drive, I'm feeling they won't even last until the end of this summer. And although they're great in the wet and quite good in standing water, I know when they start to wear (read: 4 months from now) they're going to be a nightmare on the highway. Besides, I'll only be REALLY pushing the car in controlled environments, so they'll be used exclusively for that. No need to be burning off these gumballs just commuting.

Oh, and the RX's are ET35, but I'm getting 10mm BBS spacers. So I end up with the pimp ET25 rating.

Oh, oh. Aren't you the one who said "spacers are gay"??

Just teasing you. It'll be quite an improvement over 'weaves. Are the new rims 7" or 7.5" wide? And will you go with 225's on them? I dare ya!

Nice E30 I used to have an '89 325i... I miss that car... Your E46 looks just like mine. That's a 323i, right?

Al: Yeah, I hate spacers with a passion. Unfortunately there are no BBS wheels made today in our offsets, I'm stuck with this homosexuality. I didn't want Kopis, 17's would bend too easily. Ronals are beautiful, but just a bit too small at 15". Same deal with Kosei K1's. So, if I have to use spacers, might as well get some of the best quality wheels on the market. I mean really, after 15 years look at the finish on my basketweaves! They're PERFECT.

jmalixi: It's funny that you had an '89 and now have the '00, I have the '90 and '00 here to compare back and forth, everyday damn day. Life is hard... And yes, it's a 323.

Oh, my E46 is '99 and I do regret having sold the E30. At the time, I didn't have a place to park it. I'm on the hunt for a suitable replacement (this time a coupe or convertible)... Are you selling yours anytime soon?

My car is never, ever being sold. It's still 1 owner and will die that way.

That's how I feel about my E46. I've got friends calling dibs but my first-born will inherit it.

If you don't have the spacers right now, they'll probably still fit. It'll look better with the spacers though.

Nick is actually giving me the 10mm BBS spacers and bolts to match. A little HUGE bonus he forgot to mention in the ad.

My dad swore he would never sell this car as he signed the papers back in 1990. None of his friends believed him.

Wow, perfect rims WITH spacers as a bonus? Cool stuff! NickP's reputation as a good guy is obviously very true.

Looking good mystikal, now that you spent the whole day on them, doesen't it feel like you just want to let them stay in the garage or out on the drieway and not get dirty.. hehe

Al: Nick is a great guy. I owe him big time for a few things now.

Mike: It was around $38k before tax back then.

Ivan: Yeah, I just sat there and looked at them for about an hour. I did have to drive my car around the neighbourhood for 10 mins before it got dark though.
