Shipping a car to Vancouver

What is the cheapest way to ship a car to Vancouver to Toronto?

I had a friend do it few years ago and i remember he paid over $700. Anything cheaper?

Or is it cheapest for me to just drive it down there...That's crazy. almost 3days of driving..

almost 3 days of driving? Ive done it in 3 days and it nearly killed me! 4-5 is more resonable.

if you drive it down there think about how much you'd be spending on gas, and the time spent where you could've been making $$. It's probably a smarter move to ship it down there than to drive it.

I might be moving to BC in a year or so... so this is something I've been looking into as well.

i know someone (a safe driver) who can drive it for you. you have to pay for all expenses: gas, food, lodging, some allowance. he had done it twice for a family in 2 separate ocassions...driving a van then a camry down to california.

pm me i'll hook you up.

But won't this be more than just shipping it via train? Gas alone would cost around $400 to Vancouver plus three nights of lodging...another 250-300...plus food.

Please tell me why I would get someone to drive it for me while i can ship it via train for about $700??
