Where would I find the ratings of my amps? I have Boston Acoustic 5 1/4 in the rear deck and some Eclipse seperates in the front. I have a Sony explod pushing the interior speakers and a smaller size MTX pushing the sub (which I have taken out). But me telling you the brand of the amps have little to do with how much power they are putting out. Can a stereo shop tell me their rating? I want to do the system myself. I have experience in other parts of the car and the only way I'm gonna educate myself on stereo stuff is by doing some of the work by myself. I actually have a lot of things already setup. All I have to do is plug and play.

In this picture I was using klasse all in one and klasse sealer glaze with zymol hd-cleanse. This is my first time using klasse. It looks pretty good, and it's much easier to work with than zymol carbon wax.
If you've got eclipse separates and boston acoustics speakers, your on your way. They make great stuff. Sounds like your amps should be fine. You should examine them to find a model number, and then look on the internet to find their specs. If your running a 50x4 for the inside and at least 150 for the sub you should be fine. BTW those are RMS numbers. You'll need more power to the sub if its a conventional pre-fab box in the trunk.
I would spend the most on getting a custom sub box made and installed. the design, placement, and acoustics of your sub box make more difference than components. You should do it with someone who knows what theyre doing, or else have it done. Let me know what your budget is and Iget your amp ratings and I can be a little more specific. Also, what headunit are you using?

Got any pics of your sub setup? I have a 94 325ic and I've got some gear I'd like to put in my car which I had from an e30 i sold. My subs are Boston Acoustic Pro 10's and I'm racking my brain thinking about a good setup.
