I want to come but if i run i have to do a 5spd swap next week! Or take the Benz and see what it can do stock (just for fun!)...Or for more fun take the Subaru!!!! It does 0-60 in 10sec....so the 14 mile should be in the 30's if not 40's!!!

Never understood why you look at rice for a drag car.
The RSX-R was never meant to be one.
Make it one, and you'll be at the Acura dealership every month or two, as you found out. If you like to drag, go get yourself American Muscle. Best bang for the buck out there today, is the Mustang Mach 1. Mid 13's stock, and right at home at the strip. Already have S/C's for the car for about 6G's taking it over 400 HP, and the engine won't likely blow on you after 5 runs like the 4 bangers.......

I've got over 40 runs down the quarter on my Vette, 2 track events, and almost every time I take the Z out, it's being powershifted near readline a few times. I've changed the oil twice, and that's about it for maintenance. Try that with any Acura, and see how many tranny's and engine's you'd be on by then.......

Would it be worth the effort for me to bring my ride? The car is pretty much stock, here's what's been done:

Dinan chip, performance clutch, drop-in K&N filter, 3" exhaust from cat-back, stainless steel muffler and crappy 15" tires.

What do you think?

you dont have to be fast to run,they'll be lots of ricers to pick on

...its about running and learning how to be consistent..once you start running the quarter you get hooked,you'll be begging them not to close the track untill 5 in the morn your first time out..im sure they'll be some competition there for you..they usually team up cars that run about the same times,or friends that wanna race..

some come on out,you'll love it!

and with that done to your 90 is....you'll be suprised how quick you can run

Guy's, unless your car can pull a quarter faster than a 14.00, you don't need one.
Unless your car is quite a bit faster than a 330i, which pulls high 14's at best, you don't have to worry.
