best mods for a 318is

ive finally got a little cash to burn so i was wondering what the best mods for a 1991 318is are as far as looks go. im probably lowering it this summer about 1.5 inchs

does a chip tear up a 170,000 mile engine? my friend seems to think it does.

I found the chip didn't help untill i replaced various sensors, so unless your up on maintance i wouldn't bother.

best mod for the buck is a bavauto short shift kit, some weight reduction (ie. carbon or fiberglass hood), some ultra lightweight rims, tweak the cam timeing (cams are adjustable)

I found this site to be very helpfull

was it a bav auto chip you got? and which shift kit did you get how much does the short shift kit help
