yes it is sound right, maybe a little bit overpriced, I'm not sure.
what they mean but "M3 converted" is that the car has M3 bumpers and side skirts. and the car is i6, not v6

Do you mean that it has the M3 body kit? And the engine in that BMW is an inline 6. I suggest that you take it to a very good BMW mechanic or to the dealership. The GTA dealerships are very expensive. I think the hourly rate for labour is over $100/hr! Down here in St. Catharines the hourly rate is $82/hr (Still too much for my blood so I will stick to my private BMW mechanic! LOL!)

Good luck!,
Dave

PS - Test drive it and then test drive another one to compare!

I saw that in the trader, obviously doesnt know what an M3 is, cuz it only has the bumper and nothing else. Stock side mouldings and side skirts, probably doesnt have the rear diffuser either, but I couldnt see it from the picture.

not bad tho

its not that bad looking tho, im sure engine was not tweaked at all, since the dealer didn't mention anything, all they say is that "its a 100% head turner" , still a nice lookin machine, is it worth $18,000 ? say it had 150,000k on it. So what is it anyway ? if it says M3 converted, what was it origionally ?

If i were you I would call the guy and find out what it used to be and what it still probably is. If its just the M3 kit on a 318 then its not worth the 18gs. But if its been fully converted Engine and everything then I would go for it!

I think most of us have 5spd.

and trust me if someone would spend 15-17k car wouldn't cost that. For 15k invested in 325i, you can have a aa turbo beast.
this dealer doesn't know what he is talking about.

take a 91 or so vw golf gti and toss a vr6 engine in it then supercharge it and that all comes out to about 15000 or so
