Red face Decided on sound system for HEMI!!!

i went to a aftermarket place looking for a new system for my hemi... and i finally have my product as what to put into my hemi and where... i am going to buy a JL Audio box... But... i'm going to have two 12" Kicker subs in there instead of the JL Audio... then running the subs will be a 1000 watt Clarion amp... the two subs are going to be put in a JL Audio box (as i mentioned earlier) and put under the backseat... same thing with the amp... i am going to keep my stock deck because it is a great deck with the 6 cd changer... i'd have a bass control knob somewhere on the dash for the subs... sounded pretty sick in the store... it'll make any girl wet now once she sits in the backseat with those on... ... my two cents...

Well let's see. To match the likely 10W/channel the stock headunit is producing for the crappy paper coixials, you'd be using less than 100W of that pretty setup.

If you like SQ at all you'll hate that setup.

ehe I tried that... using an inline audio converter for a signal to my amp and using the stock speakers in the car...
lemme tell u, wat i got from the music was pretty much all poundage,
u can still hear the the audio, but bass did not match the soundstage, got my alpine deck and everything cleared up nicely =)
though i still have some tuning and deadening to do but i'm lazy ryte now or busy with work,
Oh, and i lost my factory cd changer once i put in the alpine deck =(
but i have an mp3 deck now so all good

Forget the sounds system on that hemi. Tell me what muffler set-up you have. That is the real music to ears on that vehicle.
