Remember the problem we had with Jon's brother's car Ryan? When I was moving the rockers up and down and noticed one of them had way more play? Well, there's a small cam in the rocker that gets pushed by the cam loab... that's what you adjust with a special tool (nail). Shim the spacing between the back of the loab and rocker cam adjuster to 0.012" cold. Everyone seems to use different specs, I prefer doing it cold because they're all uniform. To move the cam, leave the car in 4th gear and push it back & forth.

it sounds more complicated than it is... when done properly the idle will be smooth, not rough. (the whole point)

sorry for the confusion... you shim the rocker at the valve stem. Just make sure the cam loab is on the opposite side (no tension) of the rocker arm.
