it was $450 for the springs brand new.. i was looking around for a while, not many options for an ix.. so i just found a place and got them to order these for me

ok thx, i found a local place that would sell me some for my car for $350, i donno how much the h&rs woulda been.........but the shocks/struts are a killer, like ~$600 for bilstiens

yep shocks/struts are expensive...thats why im gonna just put the h&rs for now and leave the rest stock, no money...plus im not tracking it or anything so ill be fine with just the springs

Yes to need struts. Not to alignment. Like Trevor said just mark it.

The only thing adustable on e30s is direction and toe. Camber is not adjustable and thats what goes all fubar are most lowered cars (ie hondas). If charlies doing it then don't worry about it.

Charlie is reliable right? Everyone on here talks about him so much ..so I figure he's one of the best for working on bimmers?

If you don't do shocks at the same time, you will kill the stock ones.

The drop isnt really that drastic that it will kill the shocks, also I dont do very hard driving. Its just temporary anyways, till I can afford shocks, so Ill just drive it out with the new springs for as long as it lasts.

Terry i know a guy local (scarborough) he said $350 for H&R springs........but shocks are damn expensive.

Charlie is amazing! He works on my car lately he is nothing short of a miracle for bimmer's if it weren't for him Mine be parked alot more than expected lol

H&R are stiff springs and it will wear your shocks out because the shock isn't short (like sport shocks). You are only using the lower half of the shock, my buddy did it with his acura with high qualtiy springs and his shocks wer ****ed within a month. Just letting you know.

Terry, got my intrax springs off ebay for 100$ american.
