Anybody know about these tires?

I am getting FEDERAL SS595 tires with my rims, does anybody know anything about them, I don't know much about tires. The guy selling them said they are really good but what else is he gonna say. They are 18's and otherwise I don't have the rest of the dimentions off hand.

Might be a dumb question but do you think by the tread they look good? I have no expertise with tires ...my first set of 18's, my first time I buy tires

Tread doesn't matter too too much, all V patterns on street cars in that "form" are all pretty much the same.

What really matters is how high quality the compound is.

Him saying they're GOOD in the rain tells me it's a really soft compound because it doesn't get very hard if he gets traction off the line in the rain. So I'm going to say that you'll be buying new tires by the next season.

As long as they are brand new tires and are sticky and not hard then they look like they should do well in dry or wet weather conditions.
