What is in these lights?

I have a pic of this dudes car and I was curios if anybody knows what the red in his lighting is, it just looks like reflectors on the side of the light to me but what do I know. Is it or just a photoshoped pic? If not what would I ask for at a store?

1. Dissemble the headlight
2. Paint the housing red
3. Assemble the headlight

It looks like the car either has pink eye, is in need of a lot of sleep, or just lost a fight with a pro boxer.

EIther that, or this is the replacement for putting a rainbow decal on the car!

I don't want that but my girlfriend has a grey 03 accord and she wants it in blue, I told her I would find out if I could...hence the post.

uh, Do accords have projectors?

I'm not sure, you can't do it unless the car uses projectors, otherwise the colour it emits WILL be bluish.

I think they do have reflectors but I doubt she will want to paint it, seem like it might come off cheesy if it's painted
