hey guys
im just wondering if 6.5 components will fit in the kicker panels and the rear panels of my car??

i know that the stock speakers are 5 1/4 or whatever..but im getting a good deal on a set of 4 components..so what kind of modifications should i do??

They'll fit, after you attack the sheet metal where the stock speakers go! You'll have to cut the sheet metal to a 6.5" opening to get them to fit.

Should just be able to use a metal file, thats all I used, just have to have some patients, I wasn't able to get my hands on anything power, so it was really my only option, 2 hours later, I had both speakers installed.

i see so i would just have to cut the sheet metal for the front....

but what about the rear speakers??
can the 6.5 components fit there??

I would recommend sticking with smaller components that will fit in the rear pod. you will get the best sound from the front, and will barely hear the back. I'm debating to remove my rear speakers so the sub has space to move the sound. honestly the back speakers are NOT important, unless you carry lots of passengers and want to please them.
