Is your car new or used?

Just curious if you guys bought your car new or used? I guess $$$ is the biggest issue but i was just curious how many people decided to save money on a good used car and how many were just not interested in a used car or didn't wish to risk the car having too many problems.

Depends on the kinda car too i guess, a the first driver of a leased m3 probably drove it like a madman.

i bought my 325ci a couple months used and saved thousands

makes much more sense financially for the other guy to take the initial depreciation hit

buying a new car is a waste of money...wait 3 years untill the major depreciating has ended....the cars should be barely broke in by then....unless your just filthy rich....or dont know any better..

When gotten new, I know whether the car has been driven to sh*t or not... so really its not a bad idea especially since BMWs are known for their drivability, hence I don't risk getting a car that was not properly broken in or was redlined a lot or raced and such.

I bought my Durango with 11,000KM on it, $32,000. This was a $25,000 difference between new and what I paid at the time.

I bought it two years old, before I even had my license.

It's still worth about $25-28,000 out here Even with 85,000KM on it, gotta love the saught after 4.10 gearing

I barely could afford insurance on a used car, there wasn't a way in hell I would be able to afford insurance on a new car, that was my problem

Explain to me how 4 years of difference is huge?

If my Durango was brand new it'd be the same, the replacement cost is basically the same.
