This is the TOP OF THE LINE COMPUTER....
It's 1 week old, I won this at work...

Last I checked, the fastest AMD was the Barton XP 3200 or something. Which is 2.2ghz.

I know AMD has 64 bit cpus, they're virtually useless to about 98% of the consumer market.

For those of us who run high bandwidth servers, it might be useful, I'm thankfully not part of that group.

How many applications truly support 64 bit?

It's like the old MMX technology, Intel used to say that soon software would ONLY run if you had MMX. All it does is give a performance boost.

Yes, 64 bit is the same, on a new level, but still the same. Optron chips are considered Server level still.
