Feeler: e36 BMW Battery

I'm thinking of selling my battery in favour of a lightweight battery.
I've had the battery for under a year, I installed it when I pulled the car out of storage last year. I don't really drive my car a lot (just under 10,000km) since I got the battery.

The car was stored over the winter, and the car was hooked up to an original BMW battery tender over the winter to keep the battery topped up.

It's like a coal tender on a train, it mounts the battery from behind and keeps filling up the battery

I have the BMW one. It basically plugs into the cigarette lighter and a wall outlet. Whenever it sees that the battery needs topping up, it does. Just as an alternator would if you were driving around. It retails for $87.50, BMW P/N 82 11 0 026 663.

$150 obo. I'm about to order my new battery.

A new BMW battery retails for $273 taxes included. It's been in the car 11 months, and the last 3.5 months the car has been in storage and hooked up to the battery tender.
