not if "warranty replacement" is written on the box. Someone once suggested that here, and I've been using it ever since. I never pay duties and taxes on my items now (and sometimes not even brokerage fees )

I get most of my BMW parts from the US and shipping is usually done via UPS. Never had a problem.. and prices are very reasonable, in my opinion!

yup, warranty replacement is the way to go!
you can also mark it as GIFT but customs may get suspicious.

Also remember that USPS > FEDEX > UPS when it comes to shipping/brokerage

Gotta be carefull with UPS they'll beat your stuff to no end. Any of you ever see the commercial where a carrier is carrying one or two boxes kicking one and I think talking on the phone that's UPS.

Lastly, don't ship to your house if you can help it. I order something six months back UPS shipped it I wasn't home to sign so they left the package in clean-and-clear eye view on my front step.
