Thanks, I used a canon 1d for those shots with a 135mm lens. The only processing done was to the first one you see in this thread where I used Neatimage to clear up the noise. Other than that, not much.

Canon 1D. I am looking into picking one up actually. Also Nikon has the new D70 coming out which is to compkete with the 300D, but reviews higher rated on DPREVIEW.

Do you have anymore pis we could check out?

What apps are you using for post processing? Removing noise?

If you can still pick up a new 1D, I'd say go for it. This camera is nothing short of amazing. The frame rate is awesome, the 4mp is a tad short of enough, dynamic range is great, plenty of control, you'll love it.

All the pics from my pbase account were taken with the 1d, except for the coke series, and the flower shots, those were with a f707(still love this camera).

Just try the camera out, the af speed will blow you away.

I mainly use PS CS for raw conversion, sometimes I use FUV, but thats not fast at processing. I use neatimage for noise reduction.

If you need anyhelp, ie lens selection let me know, I know a bit from both systems nikon or canon.
