Which Digi cam to buy ?

Hi all,

Looking to purchase a digi cam that takes good quality pics 3-4 megapixel and mpeg video...Looking to spend around 350-450 on it

Just bought a dsc-p92 sony from future shop and i wasnt impressed...pics on 5megapixel kept commin out blury even when i wasnt movin my hand at all...
I paid 429 + taxes for it ..

Ill be returning it a.s.a.p

Any Recomendations ?

Digital resolution is now cheap.

Good quality optics remain expensive.

depends what you want...
the Canon A70 and Olympus Stylus 300 are both great point and shoot digi cams.

if i was going for size, the Oly is the way to go.
if size isn't a concern, then IMO, A70 is the best choice. Canons have very good optics, but you can't go wrong with either.

if you plan on taking lots of night shots, then i wouldn't get the Stylus 300 as it doesn't have noise reduction.

A70 has automatic noise reduction slower then 1.3 seconds...

the A70 will give you the flexibility of having AA batteries, and the Oly is equipped with proprietary batteries.
