Buying A 5er Need Info/tips
Hey guys, after many many many many many^many different cars and different options in my head, i have decided on a E39 540i, 2000 year or higher. I test drove a lot of cars Lexus GS400, Jag XJR, Audi S4, 330ci, Subaru, list goes on, funny thing is that a 5er was not even on the list, not at all. Was at a friend's of a friends house and he has a 540i , well long story short he went for a drive, and with 5 guys that thing would MOVE! we were smokin 330's with 5 guys, i was very impressed, didn't know it can produce like that, nor did I know its capabilities. Day after went to local bm dealer, test drove a 540i, gave the guy a little fright at 155km/h on back road then started power sliding. Lets just say after that I was SOLD!!, fcuk that thing is so comfy inside, so common guys, lets hear the tips, things i should avoid, things I should defently check before hand, it is now just a matter of time, selling off the 3 listed in my ride and when that happens, oh baby, 540i commin up.

The rims might fit, but the E36's and E39's have different offsets!
I say get the 540i, i've ALWAYS loved them, and i still plan on getting one in the near future. Such powerful cars!!

Your E36 wheels may not fit depending on hub size, if they are the same, u just need spacers, also, 17" is a bit small for a 5.

your tire size is also too small, I got the OEM 17's with 235/45/17 all around, but still will work, I'm thinking of getting either 18's or 19's because the 17's look a little too small

Well here are my specifications of what I want,.
1. Has to be BLACK
2. Has to have sport package
3. Has to have 6spd tranny.
4. Has to have nice leather, not worn in.

in that case, you should check for an M-Tech 540. It comes with a kit and 18" wheels.
