I'd go for the 325. The 320 is an i6 but has only 150hp.

is it tru the 320 is a straight six, but its only ~1996cc making it a 2.0L straight 6?
Actually i saw it with my own eyes, but i didn't believe it, i never knew bmw made such a small straight six........or maybe im jus blind and read the engine sticker wrong

No you're right. It's one of the smallest Inline 6's BMW has made on a production car.
Oh and get a 325. You'll be much happier cuz it's faster and has more torque.

get a 325i cause once you have the styleing right you will look to power and a 325i is a much better starting point in my opinion

320 is actually slower than 318 when comparing 1/4 mile and 0-100 times (318 5 speed is quicker than 320 5 speed, auto 320 is slightly quicker than auto 318). The only reason I'd want a 320 over the 318 is the sounds of the inline 6 and the smoothness of the engine. However, it's not enough to make me want a heavier car that eats up more gas and it's slower.
Choice is obvious, get the 325!
