yeah, I mixed the cars up...

The 645 beat the standard M3, but the M3CSL beat it.

I like the 645i more and more. Sure it's 15g's more, but look, it's got more power, better on fuel, more hp, smaller engine (with only 9ft-lbs less), larger tires/wheels, way larger brakes, quieter, handles way better, better weight distribution, better suspension design, available in MANUAL, and the auto is a 6 speed.

So there

P.S. and in my opinion it looks nicer too.

Like the Lexus V8 (the 4.3's)- it's super dooper quiet and smooth- I like the look of power without the sound of trying (eg. Hondas with big mufflers under full throttle look slow and are SOO loud- I like it opposite)

In a straight line, they're pretty close the SRT-4 does a 14.2 1/4 mile out of the box. Don't bother comparing anything else, the BMW takes it in pretty much everything else.

14.2 1/4 mile is closer to the quarter mile times the E36 M3 does not the E46.
I think the E46 M3 roasts the SRT.

You're right, the e46's dip into the high 13's right?

Actually, E36 M3's do that. E46's are more 13.3-13.4 cars. C&D even got 13.1 out of their long term example.
