Yea go for Alpine. I love my Alpine deck! nothing comes close to quality and reliabilty!! i got it when it first came out in October 2001 and it still works perfectly!!

Alpine is definitely the way to go....their decks are bulletproof and type R's are unbelievable if you're gonna do speakers too. Let me know if you want to do Type R upgrades, I did 5.25 compenents up front and custom fit 6x9's in the back (fiberglassed over old holes...cut new ones in speaker deck and steel) reupholstered....it looks AWESOME and sounds even better. Also have type-r 12 sub in back w/ alpine amps... So obviously I'm a huge alpine fan but my car sounds like a freakin movie theater. I trying to find supplies to build custom fiber glass box to mold around the side of my trunk to hold the amps and the sub....ANY BODY KNOW WHERE YOU CAN FIND A HUGE BLOX OF MOLDING FOAM?!?!

nice choice going with the Alpine, I've been a huge Pioneer Premier fan for years until recently, I going Alpine all the way in my car from now on

alpine is great but i am all about pioneer i have the pioneer deh-p3500 and i couldnt be happier with it

i'm pretty happy w/ my alpine although it has lack of nice display like pioneer

ya i was jus gonna say that, but your buying a deck for sound, not for a nice display.
