How do you cool a beer and drive at the same time?

I've never seen this before... can you guys help me answer some questions?

Is it common in E34s?
Is it a hard install?
Can E30's install it?
Does it work on M5 seats (2 rear bucket style)?
Anybody know what this thing costs at the stealership?

You can get it for the e36 as well. My manual for my '93 sedan shows two people drinking champagne in the backseat, with the bottle chillin' in the fridge. (I dont think that idea would fly too well with the local police however )
