HVAC Burnt Out

Tried searching but I can't find any answers....

My HVAC will not illuminate anymore (1995 325i dual zone climate control not the auto version) though the a/c recirculation and rear defrost buttons will light up.

My question, is can this be fixed, is it a diy, and if not can the unit be replaced with the fully auto climate control?

This isn't hard at all. I hope I can remember it off the top of my head.
Pull off all the knobs and you'll see the screws that hold it in place. I think the screws are behind the bigger knobs I can't remember now.
Undo the screws and pull the face off. you'll see one really small bulb and it lights up the whole thing which I thought was pretty impressive when I first saw it.
Twist out the bulb and go to the dealer or crappy tire which is where I got mine. It was cheap so don't worry but make sure to take the bulb with you.
Put everything back in reverse order and you're done.
I hope this helps.

Yeah one small bulb and some tubes that carry the light.
