1997/8 540i sport tuning...
Hey guys/gals,
I'm looking to pick up a 1997/8 BMW 540i sport for the spring time. I'm keeping the body stock (for now), putting a cold air intake, K&N filter, and cat back exaust (Maybe Randy could hook me up?).
Now what do you suggest for wheels?

oh, dont let Randy see this thread...he'll just post up a huge pole for you and ask for everyones attention..lol j/k Anyways...yeah i wouldnt get hamann, hamann sucks  hehe. For a five series it deserves something huge. ACS are good, but i think it would have to be the type 2. or some big hartge classics. and BBS RW2.

yea, i like the m5 rims too ... i saw a 17" m5 rims in a kind of dark silver colour, kind of like shadow chrome but is not chrome for around $400. i might get those for my 3er too.

go look at the Wheels Classified section of today's (December 9th) Toronto Star. Go down to the Prestige Cars, and you'll find a 1997 540i, black on black, but i don't know if it's sport or not.

I once saw 17" M Roadster/Coupe rims on the 5 series before (9" deep dish all around). Although it was on a 1992 5 series, it looked really good. I'm trying to find that picture at home... if I do, I'll post it.
